Vibration Training
Vibration training is a new concept in the US exercise and workout culture, though it has been well established in Europe for many years. Vibration training showed an extensive increase in flexibility and strength, initially vibration training was primarily applied in the fitness industry but it is now used for a variety of purposes in the medical and professional sports fields. Increasingly, it is being applied in beauty and wellness establishments, particularly as a way to reduce the appearance of cellulite and to reduce the effects of stress.
Vibration Training works for weight loss, because during a workout on a vibration platform, involuntary reflex movements of the muscles occur, just by standing on it without any other voluntary movements. It is simply applying kinetic vibration on the whole body or in targeted body parts, with vibrating training usually involving vibration plate machines. You can do two types of vibrating training on these vibration machines first, you can just stand on it and let the vibration machine do its wonders or second, you can do strength-training and flexibility exercises while the vibration machine vibrates your body.
Vibration platforms are the latest in a long line of training equipment designed to build a healthy body. But how does vibration training work? In normal exercise, you move a limb or muscle by simply thinking about moving it, you do this in all your activities from walking to running to jumping to push-ups, which is what you basically do when exercising. On the other hand, an involuntary stretch reflex is when an outside force exerts itself on the central nervous system causing the muscle to spasm on its own, an example of which would be a knee tendon tap. Vibration machine have the features such as 17-25 vibration setting which affects all parts of our body positively.
